Terms of Service
These terms govern access to and use of Pilo's website, product services, APIs, integrations, and related services.
Agreement to terms
By accessing or using Pilo, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use Pilo on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" includes that organization.
Description of services
Pilo provides workflow audits, pilot-program setup, intake capture, routing, follow-up automation, front-office workflow software, integration management, and related services for local field-service businesses. Specific deliverables may be described in an order form, subscription, service agreement, or other written agreement.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, using accurate account information, and ensuring that users under your organization have appropriate authority and permissions. You must notify us if you believe an account, credential, token, or integration has been compromised.
Acceptable use
You may not use Pilo to:
- Violate law, regulation, third-party rights, or provider terms.
- Access, process, or disclose information without authorization.
- Send unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or unsolicited communications.
- Interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, or attempt to bypass security controls in Pilo.
- Upload malware, exploit code, or content intended to harm systems or users.
Customer content and integrations
You retain ownership of content and data you submit to Pilo. You grant Pilo the rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, secure, and operate that content to provide the service and support user-directed workflows. When you connect third-party services such as Google Workspace, Gmail, Google Calendar, telephony, messaging, or form providers, you authorize Pilo to access and process integration data according to your configuration, the permissions you grant, these terms, and our Privacy Policy.
Third-party provider terms
Third-party integrations remain governed by the applicable provider terms and policies. Your use of Google integrations is also subject to Google's terms and API policies. Pilo is not responsible for third-party services, provider outages, provider policy changes, or data controlled by those providers outside Pilo.
Calls and text messages
Pilo may call you about your request, workflow audit, scheduling, appointment reminders, account notifications, and related service updates when you provide a phone number or ask us to contact you. If you separately opt in to SMS through one of our forms or ask us to text you, Pilo may also send text messages about those topics. Messaging frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. To opt out, text STOP. For assistance, text HELP or contact us.
AI-assisted features
Pilo may provide summaries, suggestions, drafts, classifications, extracted fields, or other AI-assisted output. These outputs can be incomplete or incorrect and must be reviewed by authorized users before relying on them for consequential decisions, outbound communications, or canonical record changes where review is required.
Fees
Paid services, subscription terms, usage limits, implementation fees, taxes, and billing terms may be described in an order form, invoice, subscription checkout, or separate written agreement. You are responsible for paying applicable fees and taxes according to those terms.
No guarantees
Pilo works to improve front-office workflow quality, but specific results are not guaranteed. Results depend on your starting point, system access, adoption, request volume, process clarity, and day-to-day use.
Security and privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and share information. You are responsible for using Pilo in a way that complies with your own privacy, consent, retention, employment, communications, and customer notice obligations.
Disclaimers
Pilo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every communication, integration event, suggestion, or automation will be complete or accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pilo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. Any aggregate liability will be limited to the amounts paid to Pilo during the three months preceding the claim or, if no paid agreement applies, one hundred U.S. dollars.
Termination
You may stop using Pilo at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for the service or other users, fail to pay required fees, or if continued access would violate law or provider requirements. Termination does not remove obligations that by their nature should continue.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Pilo changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
